Just wondering if/ or what horse products people are using on themselves.

I use Green Cool from time to time on sore tendons in my ankles and knees.

We have a lot of older people come in to our store to get various liniments and rubs; the ice ones, MSM based, etc.

Also Bag Balm is a popular hand and foot cream, a bunch of top dermatologists are starting to suggest it for eczema.

I will also use saddle soap and condition on my leather products sometimes.

Green cool for sore muscles.

I have not personally done it, but I know of people who use Mane N' Tail Shampoo/Conditioner for their hair.

Used the green algae product can't remember the name -tasted HORRIBLE. They made one for humans, but it was way more $$$

I used Recovery after my knee surgery and of course MANE N TAIL products for my hair.

I was at the feed store and non-horsey people were in buying the glucosamine and MSM products for themselves (powders for ingestion) as it was way cheaper than pharmacy products and they said they worked great.

Back on Track, MSM gel, blue lotion (not blue kote), I've taken SinewX before too. I've used regular stable wraps and standing wraps for sprains and strains, with and without cottons. I'll also use polos at night if I want to keep ankles, wrists or elbows toasty!

I was hoping someone was going to say prevocox. I've been tempted on those "can barely move" days. I'm afraid it will do something bad and I can just imagine the triage nurses face at the hospital while I'm trying to explain what I had taken. smile

Birdy - you're probably thinking of Spirolina.

We've used equine MSM, and I used to use mane & tail as a teenager.

Mom has hoofmaker for her hands.

Absorbine! It is better than that 'junior' strength stuff! Mineral Ice is also great for sore muscles.
Cheers!

I've taken Zev before when I've had a cold. Also I've used Tuttles or absorbine liniments when it's been a long day at the farm or if I eat pay dirt lol
