a friend says she always keeps some on hand in her first aid kit for both her horses and dogs. Just wondering if anyone here feels the same??
What sort of injuries have you used it for? where you happy with the results?

Cothivet is awsome stuff! Cures "hot spots" on dogs, spray it on anything from scratches to scrapes on horses. Really speeds the healing process IMO. I too always have a bottle on hand.

My horse split her leg open from just below her knee to just above the fetlock on her front leg. It had to be stitched and stapled. The vet gave me cothivet to use. It didn't take long to heal at all and you couldn't tell that there had been such a large, deep gash. Definitely worth it smile

Have seen some remarkable healing work done on proud flesh with this stuff for horses who loooked like total write-offs before treatment began. You would never know the horrible mess a few weeks after, absolutely amazing.
