November 23, 2011 Toronto, Ontario – Five new inductees were welcomed into the Jump Canada Hall of Fame during its induction ceremony held Sunday, November 6, 2011, at the Liberty Grand in Toronto, ON. Presented by BMO Financial Group, over 300 people attended the black-tie gala event to pay tribute to the individuals, equines, and organizations that have contributed to Canadian show jumping sport.

November 25, 2011 Stouffville, Ontario – Dynamic young dressage couple Tina and Jaimey Irwin of Stouffville, ON, have enjoyed an incredible year, welcoming their first child six months before Tina made her international debut and Jaimey coached one-half of the Canadian Dressage Team to a Silver Medal at the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Schomberg, Ontario – Monopoly, the horse Beth Underhill rode at the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games, died on November 16 at the age of 32. Monopoly earned more than $1 million in prize money throughout his illustrious show jumping career, and was inducted into the Jump Canada Hall of Fame in 2008.
